It's been a busy couple of days. On Friday I went to a show called "Wrex the Halls" at the 4th and B. It was held by a San Diego radio station called 91X and it was a pretty sweet show, at least that's what Sam thought. On the bill was Slightly Stoopid, Cake, Cold War Kids, Alkaline Trio, and Gaslight Anthem. And Cake happens to be my FAVORITE all time band... and the reason for getting beat up in the front of the audience. I tried like hell to get some good pictures of Sam watching the bands, but most of them ended up looking like this:
Anyway- boyfriend, Sam, and I  were SUPER tiered after the show and pretty stoked to go to Denny's after the fact. The show started at 6:00 and we left at about 12:00 or 12:30. So after getting pushed for six hours sitting and breathing fresh air was fantastic.
The next day boyfriend needed to fix his second car, but sadly it stated raining and poor cameron had to manually pump air into his tiers. Good thing Sam was there tho help boost his moral!... Kinda. Well, if nothing else then to keep him company as he tried to make his crap car slightly less crappy.
And later that night we got our christmas tree! It's a tad bit wonkey. I think we've almost picked a name, we're leaning towards Eggburt.
Because he's looking a bit geeky outside of his Christmas tree home. But that's ok, we love our tree no matter what. Anyway, Sam was excited to help. He wanted a giant 7 foot tree, but we told him we usually stick to the smaller trees in this house... He did get into the Christmas spirit though, making him think twice about switching to Chanuka altogether. So we might swing doing a little bit of both. Yay for the Holidays!

Wow! I've been less than diligent with this blog. Sam has been with me everyday since I got him, but we haven't been o too many adventures...YET! I have many a plan, but they take time. What he has done (that I have documented) is celebrate my 21st birth day with some drinks ad then enjoy a lovely little thanks giving with the parents and boyfriend! I really like having him around.
For my second LV run, boyfriend is less helpful... and that makes things a little bit trickier. But I'll make him love Sam as much as I do. Now, over the thanksgiving brake Sam did some soul searching and he found that me might be half Jewish. Why? You may ask, and I think the answer is that I want a menora. So I'm thinking this year we may do a hybrid Hanukkah/Christmas thing. Maybe Hanukkah Harry will get Sam some nice woolen socks...(SNL anyone?)
So my plans of what I would like to show Sam:
- SDSU undie run
- Christmas tree shopping/ menora shopping
- Christmas/Hanukkah
- Caroling
- Mountain View (the Gloary of my home town)
and
- local San Diego sites

I hope he has fun on my college budget.
